Gun violence in the United States is out of control. It has been for far too long. In June 2016, after the Orlando shootings, United States House of Representative Democrats staged a sit in to demand really simple gun control measures. If you did not see the footage of John Lewis leading the Democrats to finally stand up for a very basic Bill, it is worth watching.
As the U.S. Congress comes back in session, it is time to demand gun reform again. It matters to the United States, and disarming hate matters to us.
