MPP George Smitherman held a press conference Tuesday in association with the launch of 1Toronto.ca, a grassroots community initiative that the group says “seeks to encourage Torontonians to help keep the city beautiful in the midst of the current labour dispute between the City and many of its workers.”
After the press conference, 1Toronto.ca and Smitherman cleaned up an alley across the street from the Wellesley subway station.
