Buzz, I know that the NDP has made mistakesnot the least of which is precipitating this Christmas marathonelection. Nonetheless I’ll be working for the NDP candidate in myriding, as always. That candidate is Wayne Gates, former president ofCAW Local 199.
I was sorry to hear that you will be supporting thelocal Liberal candidate, Gary Burroughs, the fat cat Lord Mayor(nothing as simple as mayor would do) of Niagara-on-the-Lake. He’s agolf club president who sent his kids to private schools. He’s awealthy career politician from Niagara-On-The-Lake who became embroiledin a scandal earlier this year when he allegedly used taxpayers’ moneyto distribute partisan election material while running for the Liberalnomination.
Wayne Gates is one of your ownmembers, Buzz, and I think it shows a lot of contempt for you tosupport the Liberal candidate here in Niagara Falls. Do theright thing and support those who have supported you, not someone whowouldn’t give you the time of day if he ran into you on the street.
