FreeMind is free mindmapping software released under the opensource GPL license. FreeMind allows the user to visually map a set of ideas around a central concept. As it is written in Java, the application is multi-platform (it can be used on a variety of computer operating systems).
Mindmaps created with Freemind can be saved as images, webpages, documents and PDF’s. It is available at the FreeMind project wiki.
