Staffers at the Trump White House have been using an app called Confide. Confide allows users to send encrypted messages that that disappear after they are read. Here are some other popular messaging services and whether they offer end to end encryption. Of course you must keep your device secure as well. The fact that these are being used by the White House does raises a question about why public servants would be using a tool that destroys the public record.
