In response to the ongoing humanitarian disaster in Norway – freezing cold temperatures, the lack of sunshine and the overall gloominess that permeates the country and oppresses its citizens – the continent of Africa has stepped up by sending aid to the circum-polar nation in need.
Promising to send a “tropical breeze” of warm air, Africans are being encouraged to send used radiators to the Northern nation in need to save them from frostbite.
“Frostbite kills, too” remarks a Radi-Aid supporter when asked to compare the temperature disaster in Norway to the poverty and starvation that is felt in certain parts of Africa.
“A lot of people aren’t aware of what is going on there right now, it’s kind of just as bad as poverty if you ask me,” pleads a supporter in a just released Christmas pledge video.
Africa for Norway, using Obama’s famous catch-phrase “Yes I can” encourages those in Africa to donate as another killer winter bears down in the global north.
The campaign’s Facebook site can be found here for more information about the campaign.
Please view the following international video call out for more information. More than a million people have watched the video so far, moved by the turn of events where the continent of Africa is now able to help other struggling nations around the globe.
“Collecting radiators –
Shipping them over there –
Spread some warmth –
Spread some smiles –
Say yes to Radi-Aid.”
Breezy Vee, spokesperson Radi-Aid.
