Barbara Jones is a contributor to rabble’s Retiree Matters column and President of the Manitoba Federation of Union Retirees. Prior to her retirement, she worked at Manitoba Telecom Services Allstream for 29 years while raising three children. For 20 years, Barbara was Secretary of CEP Local 7. In her retirement, she serves as Co-Chair of the Manitoba NDP Seniors Committee, Recording Secretary of the MFL Women’s Committee, and volunteers at Beaverlodge Elementary School.
