Emily Blake is a multimedia journalist with a master’s of journalism from the University of British Columbia. Her areas of specialization include gender, politics, human rights and media ethics. Her work has appeared on CBC’s The Early Edition, CBC Aboriginal, the Vancouver Courier, The Tyee, CiTR 101.9fm, the Ubyssey and theThunderbird.ca among other publications. She also interned with CBC’s Day 6 during the summer of 2015. This past year she was the executive producer of News 101 on CiTR 101.9 fm. Emily is passionate about audio and stories that capture the human condition. She aspires to be a professional radio producer and influence ethics in media.
