Kim Elliott was the long-time publisher and senior editor of rabble.ca, stewarding the organization through nearly two decades of growth and change. She was instrumental in rabble's transition from a project into an award-winning independent nonprofit and federally recognized Qualified Journalism organization, establishing its foundational governance, financial and operational systems. Under her leadership, rabble navigated the digital evolution of journalism, overseeing major platform transitions and the launch of initiatives like its first podcast network and live video production. She championed rabble’s uniquely progressive voice, steering pivotal coverage of issues and movements from the Maple Spring to Idle No More, to Black Lives Matter, and the MeToo movement. She expanded rabble's training and fellowship programs for emerging journalists, while developing rabble’s innovative fundraising and partnerships rooted in community support. Kim retired from rabble in 2023. Find her writing and photography on Substack https://substack.com/@kimelliott18
