Patrick Maynard's staff or freelance writing has appeared in more than a dozen publications, including VICE, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Independent, and Jacobin. His 2-year-long reporting project on East African fecal contamination and the role of western-enforced water system privatization in illness outbreaks was carried out primarily in Nairobi and Berlin, with small revisions conducted in Vienna.
