Sammy Jo Johnson (she/her) is a Child of deaf adults (Coda) and PhD Candidate in the Critical Disability Studies program at York University. Much of her research explores how ableism, audism, racism, sexism, and other power dynamics are built into education, employment, and medical systems, with the goals of challenging and changing them.
