She rejects the false dichotomy between journalism and activism, believing that integrity, accuracy, and honesty are possible without performative neutrality. She is currently working and living in the “Ottawa” area on the traditional unceded, unsurrendered Territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Peoples.
