Fwd: Byron Sonne's preliminary inquiry began last week and continues this Monday. Byron was one of the first people arrested in the week leading up to the G20 last June and is facing multiple serious charges. He has been in prison for over seven months continuously at this point.
[The preliminary inquiry stage is when the judge hears the evidence as presented by the Crown. The judge can dismiss, amend or add new charges at this stage. Bail conditions and/or lack of bail can also be reviewed by the judge.]

The preliminary inquiry has been extended to 7 days. The additional dates are February 7 and 22.
