“Egyptian protesters yesterday called for an indefinite general strike and a “March of Million” today in Cairo, upping the stakes in their bid to topple President Hosni Mubarak President Hosni Mubarak‘s creaking regime.
Ahead of what is expected to be the biggest demonstration yet against president Hosni Mubarak’s 30-year rule. Army generals said they respected the “legitimate rights of the people” and would not fire on demonstrators, giving yet another boost to the pro-democracy movement.”
