Andrea Smith, Cherokee scholar-activist and co-founder of INCITE! Women of Color against Violence, and Bridget Tolley and Kristen Gilchrist, co-founders of Families of Sisters in Spirit – a discussion on ways forward to end violence against Indigenous women.

Presented by: No More Silence Network and the Women and Gender Studies Institute at UofT with the support of The Native Youth Sexual Health Network.

This event is part of a day of programming and the 3rd installment of The Silence is broken: Now What? A member of The Vancouver Women’s Memorial March Organizing Committee Lisa Yellow-Quill as well as author Sarah Hunt from Victoria will also be present. This series represents a collaboration between the Native Youth Sexual Health Network and No More Silence dating back to the summer of 2011.
