Two videos of the Global Day of Action rally in downtown Somba K’e (Yellowknife) on the Akaitcho territory of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation in Denendeh (Northwest Territories) with a set of still photos.
Lawrence Nayally one of the event’s organizers posted the following to the event’s Facebook page about an hour before the rally started …
“… We are rallying downtown YK @ 12:00pm. Tents will be set-up for lunch to distribute food prepared by community members and another for info-sheets, discussion, etc. … Its an historical event taking shape all across this country, so why not be apart of it. Together united, 8th Fire Ignited! …”
