Indigenous Politics (#IndigPoli) — a non-partisan blog that shares information and promotes Indigenous  involvement in politics — has created an Indigenous Voter’s Guide. You can read or download the guide here.

Why an indigeous-focused voter guide? “Because the recent “Fair” Elections Act has made it more difficult for Indigenous people to exercise their right to vote. Particularly as it relates registration, identification and access to polling stations.”

The Indigenous Politics blog indicates that Tania Cameron (a former candidate for the riding of Kenora) took on an active role in preparation for the 2015 election to assist First Nations people overcome voting barriers with the “Rock the Vote” campaign.
