Regina’s Co-op refinery has locked out 800 of its workers in order to cut their pension plans. The company is bringing in replacement workers with trucks and helicopters. Unifor president Jerry Dias was arrested, along with 13 others, while walking the picket line in support of the workers. Many other union leaders were on the line supporting Unifor Local 594’s members.
