4:00pm in UTC-07
Vancouver Art Gallery
750 Hornby Street
Vancouver, BC

The Call Out:

The brave student movement in Quebec needs solidarity from students in the rest of Canada. In the face of undemocratic laws, human rights violations, and serious police brutality and repression, these students need solidarity more than ever.

Tuesday May 22nd will mark the 100th day of the student strike and will be one of the largest protests in Canadian history, in defiance of the undemocratic Bill passed today. The students have had two large demonstrations with crowds of 200000 and 300000 showing up, along with almost nightly demonstrations. The one set for the 22nd is going to be just as big, if not bigger, (here’s the link to their fb page

Let’s show Solidarity with them by rallying against this unconstitutional Bill and the increasingly unaffordable cost of education.

Please spread the word.

In Solidarity.
