Demonstrators gathered at the Canadian passport Offices May 4th, 2009. There RFHall students & staff joined protesters to demand that the Canadian government issue the needed passport to permit Abousfian Abdelrazik to return home to Canada after 6 years of horrific detention and torture that have left him separated from his family.

Students dressed in orange jumpsuits and masks like those tortured overseas, carried placards, sang songs, handed out leaflets and tried to educate the public about Canada’s complicity in the torture of its own citizens. They also joined the protest as it marched to the Justice Department and CSIS offices where similar events occured.
