Canadians are coming together across the country to demand an economy that works for everyone and they have been standing up for the climate, jobs and justice for a long time. The fact that the Government of Canada is hosting a pan-American dialogue on long-term climate action at a 2015 Climate Summit of the Americas in Toronto, from July 7-9, 2015–provides an opportunity to come together and unite our voices.
On July 4 there will be a national day of action for jobs, justice and the climate, as communities across the country stage actions to demand clean energy, not unnecessary tar sands expansion pipelines. Check the list below, or click here to find an action near you.
