Author Archives: Doreen Nicoll

Doreen Nicoll is weary of the perpetual misinformation and skewed facts that continue to concentrate wealth, power and decision making in the hands of a few to the detriment of the many. As a freelance writer, teacher, and social activist, Nicoll works diligently to expose the truth.

Winner of a Hamilton Independent Media Award – Social Justice & Human Rights (2016), Nicoll finds covering women’s rights, BIPOC issues, and the unending attack on the environment rewarding. She enjoys writing about artists, actors, authors, musicians and film makers who offer hope for a better day.
