Erin Blondeau (she/her) is a Métis mom living on the west coast of so-called British Columbia on unceded Quw’utsun territory. Her paternal family comes from the Red River Settlements and the Qu’Appelle Valley, and her maternal family is British and Eastern European. Erin is a freelance writer with beats focussed on Indigenous stories, climate justice, disinformation, and the rise of hate movements. Erin has written for publications such as The Discourse, The Breach, Canadian Anti-Hate Network, The Tyee, CBC Indigenous, and Best Health Magazine.
