Julie White is a contributor to rabble’s Retiree Matters column. She worked as an independent researcher for many years and is the author of four books and many articles and reports. She then worked in the research department at the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union for 10 years, and retired in 2012. She is now a member of CURC (Congress of Union Retirees) and is their representative on the board of the Canadian Health Coalition.
