Samantha Nock is a Métis woman from Northeastern British Columbia. She is a recent graduate from the University of British Columbia with a BA in First Nations studies and a minor in political science. Her passions are Indigenous feminist resistance, love as decolonization, and finding the perfect cup of coffee. Though she has permanently relocated to Vancouver, her heart remains in the North with her family and community. Samantha focuses her time on reading as many books as she can, writing, and trying to relearn Plains Cree: the language of her community. Samantha blogs at halfbreedsreasoning.wordpress.com.
