Vagner Castilho is a teacher, activist, homesteader and writer. He is co-founder of the La Pêche Coalition for a Green New Deal. Vagner is currently taking a break from teaching to dedicate time to raising his children and focus his energy on justice and climate activism.
His experiences in teaching affirmed for him the importance of education and awareness raising as a tool for empowerment and social engagement. He lives in Wakefield, QC on the traditional, unceded and unsurrendered territories of the Algonquin Nation.
