Check out “Thebacha & Wood Buffalo Astronomical Society” (TAWBAS) for Dark Sky Festival plans August 23 -25. Stop and look up at the night sky at your next fire pit and realize that we have something special that many in the south do not. We are able to see countless stars, the milky way and the aurora with the naked eye. Something that is being lost in other places due to light pollution from big cities. Yet another reason we live in a pretty special place. …”
