Women’s World 2011 is a global conference to advance women’s equality through research, exchange, leadership and action. The 30th anniversary will be held in Ottawa-Gatineau from July 3-7th. Nicole Schwab, co-founder of The Gender Equality Project, a Swiss Foundation committed to creating a world where women and men are equally valued and respected in all aspects of economic, political and social life. Nicole is now launching a Gender Equality label (HR) for Fortune 500 corporations and will be speaking at the conference. Meghan Murphy spoke with her about the project, the glass ceiling, and how we can work towards getting more women into leadership positions globally.
