Copy of Last Call

Dear rabble readers —

Your support of our work is unmatched. Thanks to you, we were able to surpass our fundraising goal by $8,000. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

If you didn’t get a chance to donate during our fundraiser, it’s not too late. Become a monthly sustaining contributor or a one-time donor any time of the year at rabble.ca/donate.

As promised, these funds will go towards driving progressive conversations forward. Over the next few months, we’ll be focusing our coverage on how we in Canada can build forward — not back to more of the same systems that have already proven to fail us.

We’ll be covering how we can move towards a green economy — as David Suzuki did in this recent piece advising on how we can move past hope to action, using the lessons from the pandemic to drive environmental solutions forward.

We’ll also be featuring thoughtful contributions about how our economy can move beyond its current form, towards an economic structure that supports us all, instead of fostering vast inequity. Just yesterday, Penney Kome delved into how we can use the pandemic to drive positive economic change.

And of course, we’re covering the positive change being driven by grassroots activists across the country. Be sure to follow us on Instagram to hear about the latest from our rabble rousers to watch campaign. There are some incredible progressive change-makers out there driving this country forward, towards a better tomorrow for all.

As always, we’re accountable to you, our readers. Let us know what you’d like to see covered at rabble by responding to this one-minute survey.

Sincerest thanks for your ongoing support — we could not do any of it without you.

In solidarity,

Kim Elliott, publisher
