This Wednesday, the Canadian Boat to Gaza is kicking off a nine city speaking tour to address Canada’s role in the blockade of Gaza and give their firsthand account of the capture at sea of the Tahrir.
Speakers:
-David Heap is a linguistics professor at the University of Western Ontario.
-Ehab Lotayef is an engineer, poet and writer from Montreal
Both David and Ehab were on board the Canadian Boat, the Tahrir, when it was seized by the Israeli navy in international waters. They were held in an Israeli prison for six days. We’ll have more updates about the speaking tour on the blog over the next week.
