Toronto streets erupt over Israel’s assault on Palestine
Over 10,000 people took to the streets in Toronto on Saturday, Jan. 3 to protest Israel;s most recent assault on Palestine.
A handful of counter protesters in support of Israel were also on hand. The march began at the city’s downtown Yonge and Dundas Square and wound its way up to the Israeli Consulate at Bloor and Avenue Rd.
Across the street from the consulate, the rally continued for an hour before ending peacefully.
