Sarah Miller was born and raised on Vancouver Island. While enjoying the island life Sarah developed an early passion for writing, photography and art. In recent years she has become a strong advocate for public education, helping organize a local FACE (Families Against Cut to Education) group and working with teachers, trustees, local politicians and other parent groups to bring awareness to issues in public education and the need for better funding. Along with public education she is also passionate about the environment, sustainability, human rights and social justice.
